Learning Support Teacher (K-12)

Redbank Valley School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Teacher to join our educational team.

We are looking for an educator who is passionate about helping students succeed, values collaboration, and is committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students with diverse academic and educational needs.  The position is full time.  The successful candidate will work collaboratively with general education teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and other members of the educational team to provide individualized instruction and support that promotes student growth and achievement.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification appropriate for the position
• Strong instructional, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Knowledge of specially designed instruction, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision-making
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional success of all students
• Knowledge of applicable special education regulations and compliance requirements

Open Staff Positions

Redbank Valley School District is always accepting applications for highly qualified aides, custodial substitutes, substitute nurses, and substitute cafeteria workers.

• Highly Qualified Aides - Primary responsibilities are to assist students, either one-on-one or in a classroom setting,  and provide instructional/non-instructional support and maintain strict confidentiality with respect to information concerning students, personnel, and other administrative matters affecting the district. Hourly rate is as negotiated in the support staff contract.  
• Custodial Substitutes - Applicants must have skills and abilities to perform routine cleaning responsibilities.  Position is 8 hour shift, starting wage is $13/hour.
