NEW BETHLEHEM – While talk of state championships is usually reserved for the sports pages, a team of Redbank Valley High School students proved last week that not all of the school’s success comes on the athletic fields. The RVHS “Eco Energists” team — consisting of students Maelle Hook, Dalton Traister, Ethan Minich and Hazel Coil — brought home the top prize in the state in the middle school division for grades 6-8 at the Pennsylvania STEM Design Challenge on May 9.
