WELCOME to Redbank Valley’s Title I
Online Parent Resource Center!

Involved Parents Make a Difference!
As a Title I parent, you are
encouraged to become an active participant in your child’s education. There
are many ways for you to do this. A great way to start is to attend open
houses along with other school events. These offer opportunities to get to
know teachers and other parents in a relaxed atmosphere. You can also
volunteer in the school, classroom or PTA. Most importantly keep in touch
with your child’s classroom teacher, Title I teacher, and other school
staff throughout the year. Call, write notes, send e-mails and be sure to
attend parent/teacher conferences.
Another way that you can help your child is to work with him/her at home. We
have provided several links that explain the reading process and provide you
with activities and ideas to use with your child at home. Click on any of
the following resource links to learn more.
